SCP SCIENCE is currently seeking a Glassblower to join our Production  department.

Reports to:                                     Production Manager

Place of work:                                Baie D’Urfé (Montreal), Quebec, Canada

Responsibilities:

Design and create glass and quartz ware objects for use in analytical chemistry laboratories. Use lathes and hand tools to model glass and quartz objects.

Essential skills and knowledge:

  • Previous working experience with a variety of glass; specialization in quartz ware would be an asset;
  • Creative ability and talent, as demonstrated by previous work;
  • Knowledge of safe handling of materials, tools and equipment;
  • 10 years of work experience with quartz and boroscilicate;
  • College level diploma required.
